Cost Savings:  The 2010 Friday and Saturday night lodging costs have decreased by $20 from 2009 and by $30 from 2008.  In 2010 the hotel suite costs on Friday and Saturday are only $95 per night and the Thursday through Sunday suite costs remain constant at $65 per night. These are intangible benefits that have no monetary benefit, but instead, positively enhance the weekend activities for YOU: Line Dancers have two, yes two, hours of non-stop Line Dancing from 11pm - 1am on both Friday and Saturday nights.  And, they will be in a separate room with their own floor and DJ with  Line Dance music only!  We call this our 'Line Dance Craziness'. We are opening a 'DJ Request Line' from 10pm - 11pm each night for our guests that want to hear a specific music collection. To accomplish this,  the guest must have the title and artist name or a CD with the song on it. On Saturday night, the gentleman that dances with the most ladies in the main ballroom between the hours of 11pm and 1am will receive a monetary award.  So you Hand Dancers, Ballroomers, Strand, Steppers, Two Step and Cha Cha dancers wear comfortable shoes to dance the night away. To welcome all of our first timers attending the Jam, on Friday night, we will introduce them and invite them to the dance floor for a "Welcome to the Jam dance!" To address healthier lifestyles, we will make all efforts to avoid fried foods and pork at the Saturday lunch buffet. All events...dance parties, lunch and workshops will be held at the host hotel. We will have a Dance Company installed dance floor in lieu of the traditional hotel installed dance floor or a tiled or concrete dance floor.
